It's not a modified FuzzFace, but very close to it anyway. High end is smooth and the tone is not raspy or fizzy at all. It seems a Ge FuzzFace coming from the good old days.

These transistors require center-positive ground, so can the pedal be powered also with a reverse polarity cable and a Boss-style center-negative power adapter? How did you record your guitar, UAD Ox? Amp+microphones?

Yes, pedal works w/ Boss style pwr adapter

I used UADOX only, I used to use mic etc but now it's way more easier, just power and press rec
